December 2010
I was stationed on Gan for nine months (1973/1974) and plan to re-visit this wonderful place in 2010 and try to remember all the things I loved about the place. Can't wait!!

Good place to be !!!
Hello from germany.
It was a pleasure to stay in equator village!
A real good time - thank you very much to all the staff. Everyone was very friendly.
To me it was a holiday on an typical maledive island where i could talk to the friendly people living there and explore the islands.
All the best to all of you - see you !!

been before
We have been twice to the Equator Village and look forward to seeing what improvements have been made since we were there 4 years ago. There were no British tour operators and had to make own arrangements so am happy to find cosmos putting there feet in the water. This is a place to relax and sunbath and make new friends, but you can also get out and about on bikes if you can stand the heat! Not your average Maldives so keep an open mind but remember your not paying for luxury so dont expect it. Very clean and very helpful staff food and drink just what you need. If you have never been snorkeling this is THE place to have a go, take one with you and have a go.
Remember its not Spain or Greece. Its the Maldives and it is different. But it is also very beautiful.
